Ms. Harmetz can be booked directly as a featured classical singer or in combination with any of her regular classical music performing groups.

Solo songs and performances

In addition to concert performances you can also hire an opera singer to sing specific songs. Harmetz will coordinate with event staff to tailor the song performance with an event script and other live entertainment.

Solo performances can take the form of cabaret styled Lieder, in which accompaniment is by solo piano or harp, or chamber style, accompanied by a small strings ensemble or a mixture of live and prescripted.

Concerts and recitals

When you hire an opera singer as a concert soloist you can expect 20-50 minutes of popular songs and arias with featured accompaniment by local professional musicians. Song repertoire is tailored to both accommodate the discerning music lover and to be accessible to the more casual listener. The music selections draw from the traditions of Opera, American Musical Theater, popular contemporary music as well as sacred, baroque and period art songs- providing a well rounded and broadly entertaining mix of great music sampled from the past three centuries.

Classical Performances

In addition to solo concerts in Los Angeles and Orlando, some of the classical music performing groups Ms. Harmetz is a featured singer with include Bella Baroque; Central Florida's premier baroque music group, Majestique; a duo with Pianist-harpist Victoria Schultz and The Florida Sopranos; three opera divas of stellar vocal agility and range.

Utilizing stage presence and operatic projection Harmetz can perform live and microphone free, "acoustically", for all but the noisiest of halls. Thus no matter the size of the hall or where they sit, everyone can get a front row experience.

Harmetz's audiences have ranged in size from a private dining room size gathering to a 1200 seat hotel convention hall. Ms. Harmetz garners strong requests for repeat performances with a high audience satisfaction rate indicating the significant added value that an opera singer can give to a special event.
